About This Work

"Panta Rhei", said philosopher Heraclitus - "Everything changes". A phone box is metaphor for all that is past, and all that we have achieved. The world we live in is connected to the world of yesterday only through symbols, and this work, through its depicting of one of the last phone boxes in Canada, represents the change that is a very basic element in the Human Condition. You can never step into the same river twice: everything is change.
